Why I don't think I'd make a good teacher.

1. I don't like yelling at kids
2. Kids like yelling at you
3. Kids these days have a high tolerance towards loud yelling teachers
4. I don't have a high tolerance towards loud yelling kids (Sorry Melvin and Sandra, I have failed you).

Anyway today was my last day with Colin at Elias Park Primary for the Spin Academy Yoyo Lessons.
Apparently one of the reasons why this group was so hard to manage is cause instead of the usual 16 kids, we now have 26, which made it extra hard and tough to manage. You must understand that 4 kids instead of 2 kids DOES NOT mean twice the rowdiness. You must add some formula to it, where 1 kid = 1 headache, 2 kids = 5 headache, and 4 kids = 67 headache etc etc.

Anyway the kids were really hard to control, then again I wasn't exactly easy to handle when I was 12 yrs old. I think looking back at the things I've done (Ran under a dark canal below the PIE near my house, climbed scaffolding that reached 4 storeys high, Climbed a tree, just to name a few), I think I would have scared the shit out of me if I were to see a kid do what I did today.

Maybe as we grow older and become more aware of the dangers in life, we get more cowardly, and start seeing things in a different light.
Anyway I can't say I didn't enjoy hanging with the kids, they were bunches of fun, just that the group was really too big to be handled by just two people, and some of the kids just run around like they weren't really interested.
But at the end of the day, I think the whole program was a pretty good experience and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I know some of you kids have gotten a hold of my blog (HOW AR??? HOW???) and are reading this and going "Wahlau, Teacher Andrew so bad!".
