It's my second time at the place which is popular for serving up fish horfun and beehoon soup. I normally would go to the one at Holland Village but Melvin preferred the atmosphere since it was for his birthday, so we gathered there around 8pm for dinner that night.
Generally, these are the two main dishes to order which are lip-smacking good! The one from Holland V uses cabbage instead for their beehoon soup, but this one wasn't far off either, and tasted really good, especially their horfun =)I thought their dishes weren't all that bad either, like the Yam Ring which was absolutely delicous!
We later went down to Seletar East Camp to chill out.
Some of the guys had solo drinks while the rest of us settled with a beer tower instead.
The cake came on time at midnight where they had a live band from the inside of the bar play a birthday melody while a slightly amused Melvin clapped along to the tune in slight disbelief.
You can tell though he really enjoyed his birthday surprise which had been tediously planned by his gf Sandra. =)
I'd never seen Hans smile before in a photo other than the one his dad took during his studio shot. I thought it was quite hilarious nad somewhat amusing at the same time.Anyway it was great hanging out with u guys last night, thanks for the meal, cheers!
