Just like watching the Discovery Channel...

I sit on my desk casually typing away my work for Apac CHRIE while Mr Sim stands at the other end playing with his G5 yoyos minding his own bizz.

Suddenly, a flock of CHIJ girls dash pass the store, laughing and poking fun at each other. I looked up from where I sat, and notice Mr Sim has now stopped playing his G5, staring out from the door way.

Slowly and steadily...the subject walks to the door way of the store, half covered by the yoyo display that graces the store front. Half-hidden, he whips out his yoyo, and starts throwing an array of new tricks he had learned in the past few days.

Ever so often, he would look up, and gaze at the direction from where the noise came, probably wondering if he was getting any response.

No reaction.

The girls continue with their own chatter and fun from across the public area where there plastic benches were.

He gathers more courage, and inches out where he is fully exposed. This time round, he throws and starts doing the trick "Superman", followed by countless amazing suicides, all of which he fails to land.

The girls stand up, and walk off down pass the Toys R Us store.

Mr Sim walks back into the shop and takes a deep breath....then continues to silently play his yoyo inside the store and I carried on with my work.

The mating ritual has ended in severe failure. Maybe next time his luck will turn for the better.

hm...I think we make our own friends, it's not possible to sit and wait for friends to come to you, that one boils down to personal self esteem, which I'm pretty sure he has a lot of judging from his behavior. Anyway I wasn't making fun directly at him cause it's him, I just thought the general image was quite amusing. =)
