The Giant Pineapple

Damn I've been extremely tired for the past few days, I think it must have been the lack of sleep and the adjusting to school timings again when it starts come Monday.

School...it just comes too soon...shucks, never really like studying, but then again the working world's a much tougher place to be in.

Anyway I'll have that to worry about much later in life and not now.

Last Wednesday, a bunch of us met up at Jamie's to hang out at her place. Apparently she had invited her secondary school and poly friends for a small party and some of us from UNLV got invited along as well.
The earlier part of the evening was spent at the Clementi Wet Market where Richmond, Becks, Xinn and I went around buying food for that evening's small gathering.
Richmond ordered this Chicken Cutlet from the western stall here which in my opinion is really really good! I've always enjoyed eating at this particular outlet cause their western style is very different from what other places are doing. They drizzle some sweet sauce onto their crispy chicken cutlet, making it succulent and sweet! =)
Dinner was pretty good, but slightly cold by the time it got to the table, but you can't argue that it was enjoyable to sit down and have a small dinner w a bunch of friends. =)
Games were pretty exciting, not very physical like Twister which was the initial plan (phew!), so instead some of them had a short game of Hamburger followed by an hour-plus long game of Taboo. I never played taboo before, and actually found it really exciting =)
By the time we were done, it was about 11:45pm, a tad bit too late for another round since we were pretty noisy to begin with. So since Jamie had a craving for silken beancurd, we headed down to Selegie to dessert =)
I've never really been to this part of Singapore before although I drive pass it all the time, I really enjoyed their soy bean milk, and their you tiao was tasty! Although I didnt order more since I didnt wanna spoil my diet. Hey Chang! You Tiao leh!!!! Vietnam only got spring roll. lol =P
Overall, I thought the small gathering was fun, Jamie will definitely be missed, hopefully she'll be able to make a trip back here again some time this year in between her internship breaks. =)
