Recap

It's a Sunday afternoon and as I stagger into the Spinworkx store with my cuppa coffee, I sit and look back at some of the photos I haven't got the time to post up since my last entry...

It's a tiring day, especially since I only went to bed at 6:30 and woke up about 4 plus hours later to get down to the shop.
Friday, the Student Managers made their way down after class to Kallang for an ice skating session together.
I haven't skated for about 10 years already, the last time I probably did was when I was 14 though, about the time when I tried both roller blades and ice skates. I remembered how tough it was trying to adjust to both disciplines back then since one had brakes in the front while the other had them at the back. So yes I fell a lot trying to brake the wrong way. =(
I think overall everyone had a ball though, despite some fumbling about and Becks and Alex having to use handlebars for quite a bit. =)

Saturday night after we closed the shop, Colin, Xinn and I headed down to Simpang for dinner/supper.

Being a west-sider, I'm not really familiar with the stuff the east had to offer, all I had was al meen and al azhar.
Comparing the stalls from east and west is a lil tricky, I mean, I don't really buy prata when I go to these places. I think I like Al Ameen for their naans which are cheap and good, this place is swelling with a whole different level of stuff to be honest.

K in that case, yes, YES this place is definitely better than the west side, the sad reality =( But yep, pasta? steak? Even their Roti Johns are amazing! The satay was ok though, just, ok. Could've been better, I thinking pork satay at Chang's bbq has made me a convert towards bbqing lard. =\
Xinn and I later sent Colin home and went around to ECP for a bit to check out the BBQ pit for Friday's bbq with spinworkx, after which we headed to the Marina Barriage to check out the scenery. =)
Xinn will tell you her camera could capture night shots better than mine, and to be honest her camera was damn good. Then again I'm no Samsung fan, plus I don't do much night shots, so I guess I'll stick to my trusty Sony Ericsson. =)

I think we chatted too long till it was 5am, my dad had to use the car at around 5:30. So I ended up rushing to send her home and headed back where I showered and got to bed at 6:30 today, and a few hours later, here I sit, typing this blog bit by bit as I chat with Colin, Hans, Syafiq and Junjie, while entertaining a few of the customers that stroll into the shop to ask questions.

There I'm done wth my entry. I shall blog a bit later on or tmr.

Cheers =)

Andrew
