Recently I've been pretty unhappy with a particular senior in my school. Let's call him E.
E for the past few weeks, have been going onto the Student Webboard to post irresponsible stuff about the school and his assumptions about the place.
It started out on the Chatbox our forum had, and although the name was hidden behind an alias, administrators can check and know who done it. The posts were bias, full of assumptions and very badly reflected towards the school. I kept my thoughts to myself and decided not to bother much about it. Afterall, the forum was a place for ppl to give their thoughts. So I gave polite replies and state facts and kept a positive mind about it.
A few days back, E started to get ballsy, and posted on a forum topic itself, expressing his single-sided views about the school. That's when I had it. Polite or not polite, someone had to get the point across.
So I did, and who replied? Nope, not him, but his good friend in class, the ex WP manager. Now knowing her myself, if someone were to cause such trouble inside her webportal, she would have been hopping mad and furious, but because she was nolonger in charge, she tries to reverse the tables and call me the one who's being unreasonable.
The thing I find fascinating the most was that instead of replying to the comments I had left behind, he went ahead and deleted his own posts!!! Yes! Him! Why delete your own posts when you whole heartedly believe in them? Not so ballsy anymore?
I'm sorry if I'm ranting right now, cause personally, I think I just bumped into the biggest whimp I've ever met....one who whines and complains, but then keeps quiet when being questioned about it...what kind of responsibility is that? Be a man seriously, don't get your friend to come in and try to clear your mess you started, it's unreasonable for her and she did not ask to be in this conversation in the first place.
I have to admit though, I may have been harsh, and even wasted my time entertaining E's whines. Because E complains about everything, the school, government, money etc. You can't convince a person otherwise about something when the person isn't complaining about issues, he's complaining about life in general.
Dr Andy is right about one thing though, these people will always be there, and at the end of the day they will still do the work given to them, so why bother?
