Ice Cold Indeed

Christmas eve turned out to be quite the terrible weather ytd.

Still, after hanging at the shop for abit, I headed down to meet Xinn and join Jamie and Swing for dinner at some place selling....*drum roll*...AYAM PENYET!

Yep, Ayam Penyet for Christmas eve dinner, who would've thought eh? =)
We later headed down to Ice Cold near Emerald for drinks and chilled a bit
It's been awhile since I been to this place, the last time I was here was nearly...er...oh gosh....3 yrs ago? Those aren't calamari, that's onion rings btw. I don't even know why I bothered mentioning it. =\
Anyway Jamie had been gone for 7 months in Vegas, she's the one on the left, so when she came back a few days ago, we all met up to catch up with her again. =)
And because my girl's been complaining I don't post much about here...there. =) I think we haven't taken a couple picture in quite awhile, and I really like this one alot. Aint she cute? =)

We didn't stay long though, and left early, I ended up spending Christmas midnight on a bus, I had that a year or two back, I can't remember....don't matter, I'm not a big fan of festivals anyway.

Though I don't celebrate Christmas, I make it a good excuse to eat sth nice during the holidays, so I headed with my dad and his friends to Merchant Court on Christmas to enjoy their Christmas Dinner. =)
I love buffets, as usual, I go into a frenzy when I eat at buffets, I sound like a fat man trapped in a small body.
But Seriously...(Left to Right clockwise): Focaccia Bread, Thai Salad, Mango salad, Caesar Salad, Potato Salad, Anti pasta, Peking duck Burrito)
(Clock wise left to right): Onion Ginger beef, cream broccoli, Sambal Prawn, slipper lobster, Sambal Stingray, Braized Sea Bass, Carrot Cake)
Look at the prawn man...LOOK AT THE PRAWN!!! OMG...*drool*
Oh and then we had this yellow shit.

It's Durian Mousse, and it was hella good! I should have taken more but I was wicked full. =( I bet chang would drool and just snatched the huge display bowl and brought it to his table. lol.

I ended my meal and headed down the Black Angus for a bit to check out the new place down at the old NUS building
It was after dinner hours so the ppl were gone, but it was good catching up with some of the staff whom I still recognize.
I doubt I'll ever work here again though, school's been so busy these days, its hard to find time to head all the way down to help out even if I wanted to. =\

Anyway it's late, I need to shower and sleep, oh dear it's 2, I started this entry at 12!!!.
