Hectic Weekend...

Not all weekends are meant to be fun, but at least at the end of the day, it did, thank goodness.

Hot Pot Culture @ Marina Square. 2 words. Rip Off.

Actually no la, to be more precise, "wah kanna sai I can't believe I spent that kind of money on food that is so damn average and less appealing than Bugis. What? No drinks? How much for a glass? wtf? No refills? wtf?"

Things I learnt
I finally got the damn final cut export video to fit nicely onto China One's LCD TV!

Basically.

1. Export your file to "Quicktime Movie..." and for the compresion, instead of using the current one, click and choose HDV1080i50...don't ask me why, even though my project is set up to HDV1080i50 it doesnt seem to output to that under its "current settings"

2. plop the video into Visualhub and convert it to .vob under DVD and don't author as DVD or change burn after conversion.

3. Once done, plop it into ToastTitanium and burn the damn thing under "play video upon insert" and "repeat video after cycle" or sth liddat whichever version you're using.

Things that moved me.
The sight of the Singapore River at 3:30am when it was light drizzle and the entire surface was a matte fuzzy texture...amazing.

Things that turned out great.
