Beef Brownies

I've been wanting to write up about this place for quite a bit already.

No no no it's got nth to do with the main title, omg that would probably suck!

About over a year back when I was still in army, I went over with Jeremiah and Timothy to Holland village to walk around and have dinner.

We went budget though, so ate at the food centre smack in the middle of Holland V.

I went there again tonight after dinner plans were canceled with another bunch of friends.
Basically there are two stalls in this place that serves up western food, so I headed for the one i went the last time round, which was on the left.
This place serves up a really decent beef steak in my opinion, nothing fancy, nothing high class, but still edible.
The thing I like about here is that the steak is really tender, and if you want you can ask the uncle to not cook it all the way through, I don't think he really gets the whole med...medium rare...etc, it's a coffee house for pete's sake, but he'll still try to get it done if u ask for it, I just tell him "Uncle not too cooked can already"

For $6, I think it's pretty good compared to a lot of places I've been in the past where the meat always comes out tough and chewy, this one was ok, although I think the sauce was a lil too salty this time round, so maybe I'd ask for less in future.

So if you're there on a tight budget and wanna spend your hard earn cash at one of the pubs instead of having to spend it on food, try this out at the foodcourt before u head ur way down to the nearest pub to chill with ur friends =)

Anyway, remember the brownies I purchased a while back? Did I blog about them? I think I did...
so anyway I finally managed to do it today, it was kinda like a spur of the moment thing when I randomly decided I should bake, so I went to my kitchen and did so.
I'm glad the oven's working fine again, no more wire trips = more time to play with my oven...at least as long as I don't procrastinate. =\
I think Betty Crocker brownies are hella easy to make and pretty decent to eat too, the Hershey's one is quite awesome actually. =)

I intend to use my oven for more savoury items like pizza, roasted stuff etc, but I'll leave that in future when I have time to do so....I use to roast new potatoes halved with rubbed salt, garlic and butter...maybe I'll do that again in future....

For now I'm off to the showers and gonna turn in early or else I think I'm gonna catch a cold.

*sniff*

Andrew
