So I headed out this afternoon to get me a box of ROC Pizza from Golden Mile Food Centre after reading it on
Leslie Tay's Blog to see what the hype it was about.

I've been a sucker for pizza since young and my favorite to date is this one near Goldhill which serves up really good flame oven baked pizza. I haven't been there in AGES though, but my second choice would be the one at Spizza which is pretty good as well, and for deliveries, I tend to order Pizza De France ever since my brother's friend recommended us this brand when the bunch of them came over for mahjong with my mum one day. I love thin crust, hence these choices, and when I read the ROC(Relax One Corner) pizza offered the same biscuit-thin crust, I just had to give it a try! =)

It took awhile for the pizza to bake though, so I headed to my favorite wonton stall in that area first to grab a bite.

For $3, you can order a plate of Wonton noodles and a piece of prawn-paste chicken wing. To be honest the noodles weren't anything fantastic...the only thing that made this plate special was the lean pork they used which wasnt roasted char siew...I know some may not like it, but I tot it was ok, I love the charcoal grilled char siew as well, but heck la. Thing is if u fork out $2 for just fried wonton, u get wontons served with the char siew sauce...YUM!
Also, their prawn paste chicken is something worth mentioning. Once out of the deep fryer, they taste FANTASTIC, and for $1 a piece, I used to buy a few wings back in the day when Zhirong headed down to the area to check on the construction of his dad's work at the coffeeshop near by.

I finally got the pizza and took it back to school. But the 40 min wait+travel time, not the mention the rain made the pizza pretty cold...sigh. At least the crust was still damn crispy. Hopefully I'll get a better one to test the next time round.
But for $9 for their carnivore meat lover, which doesnt have much meat, sadly, I still think the pizza was pretty worth it, not something to have everytime, but worth the try =)
Once again this isn't a food blog!!! Just my 2 cents on something I like =)
