One of these days....

...lightning will strike me.

And I shall be wearing a flammable jacket when it happens.

And although there would be lightning, there won't be any rain...so I'll keep burning as I run around screaming my head off.

I'll be struck near an urban area, but there won't be people around me.

There will be a fireman hose near by, but the tap would be broken and thus it refuses to work.

An extinguisher would be hung near where I get struck, but the safety pin would be stuck, and the nozzle would have been damaged.

I will yell at the top of my lungs, but the person nearest to me will be a guy at the 5th floor of the building I'm next to, and he'll have his earphones on, with his mp3 player set to full blast, and he'll be busy surfing porn at the computer, not noticing the smoke rising from the ground as it passes the window he's sitting close to.

Eventually, I shall collapse...breathless, given up....body numb with pain...slowly...surely...I'll be gone.
