Every now and then, I take the time to record whatever was on my phone down onto my monthly expense chart which I use as reference as to see what I've been spending on for the past month.
This month, I've already hit $639....and it's only the 16th!!! I've come to the conclusion that I've been overlooking a lot of things with my budget recently, and I should really start figuring out where I should put my money into.
Fixed expenses normally go into my Usual purchase of magazines and my farecard, which amount to $61.90...so I have a lot to play with but I haven't been exactly spending it smart.
If I break down my allowance, all $800 (yes, see how spoilt I am? Still can overspend...omg..) of them, into 30-31 days, I can spend about $25-26 a day....so wah, no reason to overspend right?
Right now if I wanna hit within my allowance I have to reduce to $10-11 a day for the next 15 days.
Sucks I know....pffft, see how it goes la, my dad offered to give more, but I really think that's not a good solution to the problem....guess it's time to practice self control.
sigh.
