Flip Video

Being somewhat of a guy who prefers to keep videos on Handycam rather than a pocket Video Camera, I was handed by Alex from Rebel 4 a Flip Video camera which he suggested to be useful for Podcasting in School and told me to give it a try.
I have to admit I was pretty skeptic at first, but after taking a few shots and reviewing them, WOW, impressive!
The price is pretty steep though, I think it's $179 for a camera that has 2gb enough for one hour of footage, no SD card slot btw.

There's a creative variation known as the Vado that's a lot thinner and supposedly more affordable. at $149 for their variation, it has the same specs I think, but apparently reviews say the quality is slightly over exposed as compared to the Flip Video, which has recently come out with a newer pocket cam as well.

I shall not bother posting any video comparisons...but you can check out this video filmed using a Flip Video Ultra, best results would be to click it to the youtube page and select high quality video to see how good it really gets =)
