Chang's 25th

So Chang from my school decided to throw a small birthday gathering among some of his close friends and invited us to dinner at a friend's restaurant known as the Pot Pourri.
Before we headed there though, Xinn presented Chang with 4 gifts from the group of us, a Drinking board game, a Hotel Costes 11 CD, a Four Seasons Cake and a 20 min survival kit...we thought it would last a day, Chang begged to differ. =P
The restaurant wasn't far, and is actually located behind the Singapore Arts Museum, so we walked over for dinner.
I think this has got to be one of the nicest Indian restaurants I have been to that served food different from the usual stuff I tend to enjoy. Two dishes to take note are the Muttom Ra Ra and the Meen Moily which are both extremely delicious recipes!

Raj, that other pure vegetarian restaurant that served really good northern Indian food, was another place I was pretty fond of. =)
Apparently Richmond had forgotten the amount of candles needed for Chang's birthday and was one candle short, hence, 24.
So I was told Chang is a sucker for this particular cake, and to be honest it was really good, although it taste awfully similar to Conrad's Hazel Nut Crunch...stolen recipe?? hm....
After dinner, we headed down to Swensens at Orchard to meet up with Richmond and Jon for icecream. Rich was pretty tired from the whole day of work, I think Jon's day was just getting started..lol.

As for the rest of us, we left around 11:30 since there weren't much to do left, plus we were tired.

All in all, this birthday was great! Thanks Chang!!!

I'm off to bed...night ppl =)
