So I was supposed to study, but then I realized I got nothing at the moment and maybe I'm procrastinating a bit. Think I'll go mess with my events management later on then.
Anyway I've been thinking and some consideration I figured maybe next time I'll just do random posts within a week instead of compiling everything into one long week posting cause it's just hard to remember sometimes what occurred over the weekend.
So hopefully, yep, HOPEFULLY, this will be my last weekly-base posting for my blog =)
SCREMOROLOGYSo it was Tuesday and I was bored, and figured since I had to mentioned to my best friend in high school, Leon, that I would visit Screme more often to support his and his friend's makan outlet, I headed down to take away two hotdogs and a bottle of beer.

I had a chat with Eugene once and he had mentioned that he felt the pricing for a hotdog set over at their place wasn't worth the money, but I thought, after getting myself a dog, another dog set with additional $2 milkshake and a $10 beer, I was looking at a $23 bill. so remove the $12 and u'd get $11. for one set and one extra dog. If u ask me I think the price was pretty ok considering two macdonald set upsize costs slightly over that price. =\

Maybe I'd go down again some other time too. One of the owners there makes ice cream, and Durian's one of their popular flavors...must try some day =)
Coffee Club w XinweiSo dinner that tuesday was with Xinwei at Coffee Club. I never saw that place as a dining location before, and always considered it a place for coffee and cakes until XW convinced me to give it a try.

I ordered some beef thingy(I'm sorry I totally forgot the name!) which came with french beans, chinese mushrooms and mash drizzled in some really starchy demi glaze.
I have to admit though, I was pretty impressed, especially with the mash that had little chunks of potato inside, like the ones freshly made in Black Angus...yuums... =)

Xinwei didn't seem to enjoy her pasta though, I think it prolly lacked salt...but her recommendation from the place was their mudpie, which was a sure winner =)

The top part's coffee while the bottom's chocolate, along with a base that's like a squashed chocolate cookie dough....too damn sinful, but nice altogether =)
Random ThoughtsI came into school on Wednesday and took 3 random photos.

XW cheekily took my pack of panadol and decided she would redesign its cover to cater to me. So much for trying to spell "Menstrual" though. =P

I was bored. don't ask. but I think it could be the next big thing...

I got a text message from Xinwei while in class to go check out my desk, and found this on my table which she had left for me. How sweet right? Better start using...I have to admit though it somehow just reminds me of jello when I shake it. =\
The photographer's pad
I had lunch with my classmates on Wednesday and later left to find Caterina at her work place to take a look at some camera stuff which she had on sale at her shop called...er...Objective...am I right? hm...

Anyway I got to check out the new 35mm Backing Xinwei had told me about, pretty impressive when Cat mentioned to me the features of the new piece. Looks like a nifty gadget if you're a hardcore lomo fan. Be warned though, that adapter alone costs as much as a brand new camera. ack!

While I was there, I got to look around at the Electrico exhibition that was up at their shop and was pretty impressed. I'm not a big fan of indie music but I can certainly appreciate hard work and boy I think Electrico's a damn solid band.
Burning the midnight oil....I recieved a call from Shahmil, the assistant bar manager from China One whom I had previously helped regarding videos for their bar, saying that they needed an urgent video up at their club so I went down to check it out

I stayed up quite a bit helping out with the video, and was done by 3:30, which I then headed home, slept for 2 hrs and went straight to school.

I did receive a really cool present from Shahmil though, a Skyy Vodka bottle, not much though, but since I don't drink, I figured it was still worth collecting, the bottle's really nice btw =)
Food Frenzy. As I scroll through the pictures for the rest of my week, I realise that all I have are pictures of food, food, and more food....=\
So heck la, I might as well just post them.

Lunch at Sakae with Shi Chang, Xin Wei and QQ.

Dinner @ Yoshinoya and Dessert at Ben n Jerrys w Richmond, Karen and Xin Wei

Breakfast in school....during...erm...class.

Dinner with Shi Chang and KZ
If I keep this up, I might as well turn this blog into a huge album full of food pictures. =\
East Side Throwdown
So Sunday I had a yoyo competition to judge down at Suntec City and so I headed over in the afternoon to check it out.

This time round, all 4 judges were all representatives of Duncan Crew Singapore. I have to admit it felt a bit bias, but rest assured the entire thing was fair, no foul judgment was involved, we even had to disqualy our team leader who accidentally had a vulgarity in his song..woops?

Other than the competition though, the small performances were pretty interesting though I didint stay around long enough for them, but I think the kids had a ball being entertained by the older kor kors in the crowd. lol
Anyway you can view the pictures and more here on this album
EAST SIDE THROWDOWN 2008Bryant's Wedding
I haven't met him in awhile, so when I recieved an invitation saying that I was invited to go to Bryant's wedding, I wasn't sure if I should go, but after some persuasion, I headed down with Zhirong and Zhihao to show some support.

Trust the camera man to take such a lousy photo...pffft, so blur. and YES, that's how I look like now, OMG right? so much for trying to do a last minute hair job before a wedding dinner....sigh. Lesson learnt.
Clean Up Crew
I headed down to Burlington Square later that evening to check up on the guys to see how they were doing. Apparently they had more fun than I did at the party while I was at the wedding dinner, and Chang got a bit wasted, so we took him home to rest while I fetched Richmond and XW back as well before heading home to sleep.
Wiliam took some awesome pictures I'd love to share but I can't access his public album, the guy's amazing with his camera!!! Anyway it's late and I'm supposed to be buried in at least one book tonight before going home to ZZZ
You guys enjoy the rest of your week, I'm gonna head down and grab a quick bite.
Cheers ppl =)
Andrew
