The flu, the negligence, the shower, the new toy, the stupid leaking airconditioning.

As I type away, I hear the sound of dripping water to my left, as usual.

The airconditioning is down again...leaking like a bladder that can't hold for nuts.

It's gone through a dozen repairs throughout the past...say what....6 yrs? Are aircons supposed to last that short? The other two in my brother's room seem to be working fine...why me? boooooooo!

But enough of that, I was down with the flu again earlier this week....it's as though it'll never go away. I've been self medicating though...bought me some honey from 7-11 to mix up every 3-4 times a day to drink so as to calm my throat.
But like any good remedy, it's only as good as one's will power eh? and I do admit I havn't exactly been taking care of myself recently, what with my constant intake of fried food and delicious goodies that's just asking for it.
I mean, how can you deprive a guy of his favorite foods? It's just now fair know? I can't say it's healthy, and I definitely can't say it's helped my flu along the way, but I can say that their the only things I've enjoyed while I was sick, so there.

Bite me.

I havn't been having a lot of sleep recently, I had planned for friday to be one of those days I would spend at home ZZZZZZ-ing till the next morning without the aid of an alarm clock, but even when plans are made, others disrupt. Like me having to go back to China ONE to fix the video problem where it kept playing off the screen size.

I solved it, I just couldn't get the DVD to replay on its own again and again, and that was just sad.
I ended up heading home at 12, and knocked out in the bus a couple of times and almost missed my stop.

Saturday

It was 4 days more before our new born family member reaches his first month, so our cousin invited us to his newly renovated flat for a lil house warming. I must admit, I still don't know the new kid's name!!! oops? I guess I've been so tied up with sch recently I havn't had a lot of time to pay attention to anything.
As usual, my favorite niece Xena was there, running about with the other children playing and jumping like little rascals would. I wanna have children when I get married. I really do, sometimes though, when I see how hyperactive some of them are, I wonder if I'll even be able to cope with having one...or worse still...2. lol. The handsome looking guy in the pic's my younger brother, he's taken, so u girls can forget it. haha.
Ain't he the cutest? I never got to hold him, but I was sick, so it was best that I didn't. But isn't he the sweetest thing? U know how babies have that "new baby smell"? lol! nono, not when they shit la! As in, there's this fresh smell u get from a new born, like baby powder.

Then again it might have been baby powder...

But whatever, it's so exciting to see a new addition to the family, it only makes me realize how old I've gotten...gosh....24! and still single! Then again with school work this stressful, sometimes it's really hard to think so much about having r/s at times I guess.

Sunday

I went back to school to study for tomorrow's quiz....the past exam had been badass, and I've been so stressed out reading it I thought my head was gonna pop....but getting 84 for my test made me smile a lil, but definitely this wasn't something I'd like to do all over again...it was SO DAMN FRUSTRATING.

Anyway, I took some time out and headed down to Jaben to get me a new toy.

Remember how I enjoyed my Xmod from creative? How I love it's reproduction of low-quality bitrate mp3s? Well now there's the Clari-Fi, a nifty little piece of equipment from Jaben that costs $88, which does the same thing, and guess what? it's probably 1/6 the size of an Xmod!
Apparently Uncle Wilson's having a promotion at his shop and a pair of mylars($70, the earphones u see in the picture) bundled with this baby only went for $99. So u save a total of $59!!! WOOOOOT~! How not to resist? I tested it out, and was DAMN impressed, but it won't do much for songs that's above 128kbps so don't be so surprised if you're not baffled by the sound cause your mp3s are all ripped at a higher bitrate. What makes it better though, was when I plugged it into a pair of speakers and sampled the sound again...it sounds even better! more significant!

I wonder why this thing didn't come out before the Xmod did.

If you're not much of an audiophile, but would love to see a bit of difference in your music, I'd really recommend getting this little piece of wonder, for that price range, how to resist?

Anyway it's late, I shouldn't be posting so much.

Time to hit the hay.

You guys have a great week, cheers people

Andrew

If that AC is leaking water you can be a hero and fix it. Just backflush the drain hose with water from a garden hose. Get all the moldy fungus out and watch out for the water fall to follow. So easy a College boy can do it. Ha!

haha!Damn am I surprise you check out this blog! Yeah I didn't do it in the end, my dad got someone to do the flushing, cost a bit though.

I'll keep that in mind and bring out the garden hose the next time that happens, thanks!
