The Party
Starting of with coming to school at 8:30 in the morning for the Rebel 6 Orientation. I've not been sleeping well for the past few days and an early morning wake up wasn't exactly what I would refer to as pleasant.
The guys from Rebel 5 on the other hand, were all hyped up with the event, it was kinda good to see the whole thing being put together with lots of enthusiasm.I heard that it was a bit tough though what with the lack of help and time to plan the event. There weren't much problems that was faced during the event, nothing other than the usual delays that occurs on almost every event you go to, whether UNLV or not.
I think Becks only comment about the event was that they had failed to get the GM to go up and introduce her Student Managers, which had been done in all the other orientations for the past 2 years.
Looking from a new-Rebel point of view though, I think most of the new students who were there seems happy and felt things were going ok...afterall, any event can be extremely messed up, as long as the guests of the event does not know about it. =)
I have to say though, Cecilia and Sheryll are the two most animated people I've ever met!!! No kidding! I think their partly the reason why events are some times fun to hold because you get such people on your team to create such a positive vibe to the entire event.

Of course you can't credit these two volunteers and not the rest of Rebel 5 who did most of the hard work getting the whole thing together.
Another person I met at the orientation was apparently Mel's boyfriend, Leonard. Mel's a friend of Xinn's and apparently Leonard had applied to come into this school so I was told to keep a look out for him.
Such glamorous shots eh? Heh heh. An overall nice fella, I had him on my team when we went about for their games session.
I think overall the event was well pulled off. Unlike the other Orientations that cost from $900-$1000, Rebel 5 had used up almost the entire $1,500 funds for this event I heard. The food was good though, and the event went pretty well and the place was well decorated. They even took the inniative to clean up the event right after it was over, which impressed Germaine, the HCL Manager. =)
The After Party
After orientation was over, I headed out with Xinn to Great World City to meet KZ for dinner and a farewell small party at the Winebar @ Zouk.
Xinn and I hung out till about 1 plus and then headed to her house where I waited for her to shower and then headed down to the Airport.
The After After Party.
Forgive me if I didn't take photos. I was too tired by then. We hung out at T3's Wang Cafe from 3:30 to 7:30. Xinn apparently wanted to sleep and I wanted to use my Mac, but in the end I found myself ZZZing on the chair while Xinn watched Grey's Anatomy on my laptop.
The only time I woke up was around 4:30 when 2 bunch of rowdy locals sat at the places, ordered like, just a cup of coffee and nothing else, and kept talking and talking and talking, I swore I thought it was already 8am. Should have been more considerate especially when there were travelers resting at the cafe trying to get some shut eye before their flight as well....sigh.
Jamie came at around 7:30, along with Swing who was tired as hell and looked like her hair was done up like a lady from the dynasty era, becks came shortly after. So after breakfast we saw her off, and I drove Xinn back home, and spent an hour long ride on the 66 bus back home where I slept till 4:15pm, then made my way down to the Spinworkx store.
There I'm done, and I can feel this serge of Yawn-Vibe getting to me again...better get some shut eye soon....baaaaaaaaah
